GRACIE SCHNEIDER: I understand what you are saying. You are not being hateful and I respect you completely for that. I know that the LGBT community has gone through nothing compared to people of different races and that they are only a group of people, but the group has gone through many things that are part of history such as the Stonewall Riot, Compton's Cafeteria Riot, the Legalization of Gay Marriage in the US, and much more. Many people don't know that homosexuality was illegal in 49 states in the 1950s - 1960s. I think that this at least deserves a spot in the history books. I say this with respect. I would love to hear your response to this comment.
