WIKIPEDIA: According to the Bible, Galilee was named by the Israelites and was the tribal region of Naphthali and Dan, at times overlapping the Tribe of Asher's land.

Bnei Bilhah are of an ancient origin. In the Hebrew migratory tradition begun more than two millennia ago, an Israeli remnant migrated into Africa with many Danites from Northeast Africa migrating back to their tribal allocations in Israel, such as Tel Aviv, besides emerging Naphtalite communities throughout Mainland Africa, including Levitical Islanders from Haiti, Jamaica, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, and Australia, as well as a Mixed Multitude comprising the African Diaspora from the United States of America settling Southwest of the Sea of Galilee.

ESTI MOSKOVITZ-KALMAN: The English-speaking Aliyah map is changing. While Jerusalem remains the leading destination, two cities are rising fast: Tel Aviv and Herzliya. The idea of a monolithic "English community Aliyah" experience is dissolving into a more diverse and decentralized landscape.
Ariela Karmel: Demonstrators gathered outside the Knesset on Sunday demanding that the government facilitate the immigration of approximately 10,000 relatives of Israelis of Ethiopian descent, given ongoing violence and strife in Ethiopia's Tigray region.

Miriam Berger: Tiran Rahum, 49, owns Dragon Market (and rents Uclaray his weekend stall out front) and imports over 600 food items from all over the world. He's watched waves of immigrants and migrants redefine the tastes of Neve Shaanan following shifts in Israeli and regional economics and politics. First, it was the West Africans, then the Chinese, then the Ukrainians, Russians, and Romanians, the Sudanese and Eritreans, and increasingly now the Filipino, Thai (dispersed across Israel in agricultural work), Nepalese, and Indians.

TOVA HERZL: Anyone who assumes that Israel – or any country – can act as it wishes without consequences would do well to look at the situation through the eyes of others, recall precedents, and reflect. Whatever the differences, the code word for institutionalized discrimination is "apartheid," and we recall the fate of white South Africa. In other words, Israel is willingly entering an enduring demographic and political trap of its own making.

Rau Staff: Ancient Egypt was the first civilization in history to use vases as both ornamental and functional objects. The ancient Egyptians were likely the first to display cut flowers in vessels, as they were important offerings in festivals and religious ceremonies. Plant life was important to the Egyptians, and life in the fertile Nile Valley meant that vases full of flowers adorned homes and banquet tables symbolized the empire's wealth, prosperity and attention to beauty.

IAN JAFFE: With so many of their younger members being absorbed into Israeli culture and language, now is the right time for Israel to do the right thing – that right thing being the integration of the remaining African community in Israel.

SUE SURKES: Israel is currently home to some 25,000 asylum seekers from Africa, among them around 18,000 from Eritrea, and more than 3,000 from Sudan, including Darfur. Even the tiny community of refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo, many of whom have been in Israel for 30 years, is doing what it can. Its 700 or so members, who live mainly in the central cities of Tel Aviv, Holon, and Bat Yam, raised NIS 6,500 ($1,600) last week to buy supplies, which they took to the Bat Yam Municipality for distribution.
