WIKIPEDIA: According to the Bible, Galilee was named by the Israelites and was the tribal region of Naphthali and Dan, at times overlapping the Tribe of Asher's land.

Bnei Bilhah are of an ancient origin. In the Hebrew migratory tradition begun more than two millennia ago, an Israeli remnant migrated into Africa with many Danites from Northeast Africa migrating back to their tribal allocations in Israel, such as Tel Aviv, besides emerging Naphtalite communities throughout Mainland Africa, including Levitical Islanders from Haiti, Jamaica, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, and Australia, as well as a Mixed Multitude comprising the African Diaspora from the United States of America settling Southwest of the Sea of Galilee.

"FALASHA MASADA"

“Falashas: The Forgotten Jews,” Baltimore Jewish Times, 9 November 1979Once they were kings. A half million strong, they matched their faith with fervor and out-matched the Moslem and Christian tribesmen around them to rule the mountain highlands around Lake Tana. They called themselves Beta Israel—the house of Israel—and used the Torah to guide their prayers and memories of the heights of Jerusalem as they lived in their thatched huts in Ethiopia.
But their neighbors called them Falashas—the alien ones, the invaders. And even three hundred years of rule, even the black features that matched those of all the people around them did not make the Jews of Ethiopia secure governors of their destiny in Africa.

Vexy: The flag for Ethiopian Jews (there is a large population of Ethiopian Jews) uses the pan-African colors and the Star of David. The broken rules here are the use of four primary colors and the overlapping of red on green. It is meant to connect the two different worlds that they are a part of. One being the Jewish stressing of the return to Zion as well as the Ethiopian heritage
Ibrahim Omer: The Beta Israel have traditionally attributed their descent to the Israelite tribe of Dan. Also worth mentioning is the Chief Rabbi of Egypt who wrote in the sixteenth century confirming the origin of the Beta Israel as Jews from "the tribe of Dan"(as cited in Bleich, 1977, p. 302)

Irene OrleanskyThe first historical account of Jewish presence in Ethiopia came from a 10th-century Jewish merchant and traveler Eldad Ha-Dani. He recounts that when the Northern Kingdom tribes of Israel went to war against the Southern Kingdom tribe of Judah, the Danites, who were renowned as skilled warriors, refused to fight against their kinsmen and left Israel for Egypt.

Irene Orleansky: I contacted a group of Jews in the Kechene neighborhood of the northern part of Addis Ababa, who claim to be descendants of Beta Israel who migrated from Gondar to North Shewa.

Nadene Goldfoot : From the Book by Eldad: In 883, a letter was sent to the Jews of Spain by a Man Calling himself Eldad from the tribe of Dan, one of the Lost Tribes. He said that he and a Jew from the tribe of Asher got on a small ship in order to do trading with the men on board and by midnight and wind came up and the ship was wrecked. Here they were out in the water and they found some box to hold onto and were cast on shore. The native people there were the Romranos who were black Ethiopians, tall, naked and were cannibalistic. The Jew of Asher was fat, and they ate him.

Nadene Goldfoot : The Tribes of Dan, Naphtali, Gad and Asher lived in Ancient Havilah, where Gold was, and they Trusted in Gd, Who helped them. Every year they made war with the 7 kingdoms and 7 countries. The kingdoms were Tussina, Kamti, Duba, Tariogi, Takula, Kakrma and Kalom which were on the other side of the rivers of Ethiopia. These 4 tribes had gold and silver and precious stones, many sheep, cattle, camels and asses. They farmed, lived in tents and traveled and lived in tents from border to border. Their king's name was Uzziel. Every 3 months a different tribe goes out to war and stays away for 3 months. What they bring back of the spoils of their enemies they share with their own tribe. The only other people who have seen the descendants of Moses were the 4 tribes who dwelled near each other, Dan, Naphtali, Gad and Asher who lived on the other side of the river of Ethiopia.

Haim F. Ghiuzeli: Perhaps the best example of traditions upholding beliefs of an origin from the Ten Lost Tribes can be found among the Jews of Ethiopia. The Beta Israel community of Ethiopia regarded themselves as descendants from the tribe of Dan. It should be pointed out that when Rabbi Ovadiah Yossef, the Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel, recognized the Jewishness of the Jews of Ethiopia in 1973, he too emphasised that they were descendants of the lost tribe of Dan.
